Unora Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Unora (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS application (the “App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how your data is handled.
Unora unifies messaging platforms into a single application, enabling you to send and receive messages from third-party messaging services (“Messaging Services”) on your iOS device. Unlike other services, Unora does not store your messages on our servers. This service is provided "AS IS".

- No Message Storage: Unora operates without servers for message storage. All messages are sent directly between your device and the respective Messaging Services.
- End-to-End Encryption: Unora preserves the end-to-end encryption of messages where supported by the Messaging Services.
- Local Data Storage: All sensitive data, such as authentication credentials, is stored locally on your device.
- No Monetization of Connected Accounts: Unora does not transmit or sell any of the data accesed through the third-party messaging or email services.
We collect information necessary to provide and improve our services:
- Customer Support: Information you provide when contacting us for support.
- Crash Logs: Unora collects and stores crash logs to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Device Information: Non-identifiable device identifiers, such as OS version and app performance metrics, to improve functionality.
- Third-party services: Services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by Unora:

You can halt all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide Services: To operate and maintain the App.
- Improve User Experience: To troubleshoot issues, analyze crash logs, and enhance the App’s performance.
- Compliance and Legal Obligations: To comply with applicable laws and respond to valid legal requests, where necessary.
Please note that the third-party services use the collected information as described in their privacy policies - which are listed above. These services do not have access to your connected accounts.
All payments for Unora subscriptions are processed exclusively through Apple In-App Purchases (IAP). Unora does not collect or store any payment information. Apple’s terms and privacy policy govern the handling of payment details. For more information, please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Unora does not share or sell your personal data except as follows:
- Service Providers: Limited sharing with service providers solely to diagnose crash logs or improve the App.
- Legal Compliance: If required by law, we may share limited information, but we cannot access or provide any messages, message content or conversation data due to our server-less design.
- Corporate Changes: In case of a merger, acquisition, or sale, your information may be transferred, with notice provided to you.
As a resident of the EU/EEA, you have the right to:
- Access: Request details of the data we process about you.
- Correct: Update inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete: Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.

Unora employs technical and organizational measures to secure your data, including:
- Sensitive information is stored locally.
- Encryption protocols to preserve the security of communications.

Unora follows a data minimization approach and retains personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
- Messages and Message Content: Unora does not store messages or message content on its servers. Any message data remains on your device and within the respective Messaging Services, subject to their retention policies.
- Crash Logs and Diagnostic Data: Crash logs and related diagnostic data are retained for up to 90 days, unless a longer retention period is required to investigate recurring or unresolved technical issues. After this period, the data is deleted or anonymized.
- Device and App Usage Information: Aggregated and non-identifiable device and performance data is retained for up to 12 months to analyze trends and improve App stability.
- Customer Support Communications: Information you provide when contacting customer support is retained for up to 24 months after the issue is resolved, unless a longer retention period is required for legal or compliance purposes.
- Legal and Compliance Data: Where retention is required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process, we may retain limited data for the legally mandated period.
- If you uninstall the App, any locally stored data is removed from your device. You may also request deletion of any data we control by contacting [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law.
Please note that third-party service providers listed in this Privacy Policy retain data in accordance with their own retention policies, over which Unora has no control.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices. Updates will be posted on our website with the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
